The Partnership to End Homelessness is a collaboration of homeless service providers in Chicago and Cook County that works as a leader in the movement to end homelessness, serves as a unified voice of service providers, and utilizes members' expertise to influence public policy, improve service delivery, and identify resources for ending homelessness.
Vision Statement
The Partnership to End Homelessness is a member organization of providers of housing and services to people who are homeless. Our vision is to:
- 1) Serve our members by speaking with a unified and independent voice; planning and coordinating an integrated, community-based system through collaborations among members; and promoting and supporting skilled leadership among our members;
- 2) Act as a catalyst in the Continuum of Care
by playing a key role in the Chicago and the region's Continuum of Care processes and Consolidated Planning processes; promoting a Continuum of Care that is inclusive, well-planned, coordinated and evaluated, and that is accessible to all who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless; and
3) Play a major role in the reduction of homelessness by actively promoting strategic collaborations to measurably reduce homelessness over the next five years; and increasing public awareness and support for homeless issues.
